I am an artist, sound designer and musician interested in improvisation.
As an installation artist I am focussed on discovering the unheard and unusual through kinetic sculptures, improvised performance and sound-based mark making.
I create sound and music for clients in a number of industries, including other artists (Cooking Sections, susan pui san lok), Heritage institutions (Historic England, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, National Trust) and commercially (Adidas, H&M, Miu Miu).
I am founder of Eastern Ear, founder of YARMONICS festival of sound and new music, trustee of Barrington Farm Trust and Programme Director at disability arts charity, Musical Keys.
I perform live with Chris Dowding in the improvising duo Sudden Amusements and in many site-specific experiments with Tazelaar Stevenson (such as ROOKS and Buckenham Drums).
